The Marcus Evans Group is pleased to announce that it has acquired the award winning independent production company, World Productions (“This Life” “United”, and the upcoming “Line of Duty”) formerly headed by Tony Garnett and John Heyman.

The Marcus Evans Group acquired Ken Mcreddie Associates, the long established artist agency in 2008. Since the purchase Marcus Evans Entertainment and Ken Mcreddie Associates have been committed to developing a high quality drama production unit.

The acquisition of World Productions will enable Marcus Evans Entertainment to merge with World Productions, and brings together a wealth of experience into one production company.

World’s Simon Heath becomes Creative Director, MEE’s Jake Lushington becomes Head of Drama and Roderick Seligman will continue as Managing Director, with Roger Charteris as CEO.
